Mission

Proceeds from this year's SneakerBall event will support the Sports Alliance Foundation's new Incubator Program. This program is an innovative model in the non-profit community, with our intended impact to help grow robust and vibrant organizations who will widen and deepen their social impact within our community. We will strategically invest financial capital, social capital and intellectual capital in these non-profit groups which will all have a focus on youth, sports and play. Your support will directly impact the Sports Alliance Foundation's mission to empower our youth by making strategic investments in community-based programs that use sports to effect social change.

Greater Washington Sports Alliance

Mission:  We create economic stimulus and civic pride by initiating and supporting the successful execution of sporting events in Greater Washington.

Established in 2003, The Greater Washington Sports Alliance (GWSA) is a regional non-profit sports commission created to foster economic development and civic pride through the power of sports.

 Greater Washington Sports Collaborative

Mission:  We empower our youth by making strategic investments in community based programs that use sports to affect social change.

With a focus to continue to make an impact on the Greater Washington community, the Greater Washington Sports Alliance Foundation (GWSAF) developed the Greater Washington Sports Collaborative.  The Sports Collaborative is an incubator structured to help support other small non-profit organizations that use sports to effect social change.
