Silent Auction
SneakerBall is Washington, D.C.'s unique black-tie and sneakers gala that includes opportunities for guests to meet athletes and coaches from the region's professional and collegiate teams, as well as local Olympic champions. In addition to the Hall of Champions induction ceremony, SneakerBall VII will feature live and silent auctions. During the evening's program, guests will have the opportunity to bid on priceless and unique items, services and experiences that cannot be purchased anywhere else.
The Silent Auction is a great way to get involved with this charitable event...
Thank You To All Of Our 2010 SneakerBall Auction Donors

Live & Silent Auction Rules
1. Raising your auction paddle during the live auction constitutes a contract to buy. Writing your bid number during the silent auction constitutes a contract to buy.
2. All sales are final. NO exchanges or refunds on auction items are permitted unless specifically indicated on the bid sheet. Everything will be sold "as is." Please read the specifications and limitations carefully.
3. Please note that all auction items may have restricted use or other qualifications, which may affect value, application or use to the bidder. All trips are subject to availability and require advance reservations. All restaurant certificates do not include tax, alcoholic beverages or gratuities.
4. All contributions in excess of fair market value are tax deductible to the extent allowed by law. Your personal tax advisor can determine the deductibility of individual items.
5. Each bid sheet lists the minimum acceptable opening bid and the minimum raise required to advance a bid. A person desiring to bid does so by printing name, phone number and the amount of the bid on the line stating the desired bid.
6. No bid, once made, can be withdrawn unless superseded by a valid higher bid.
7. Each new bid is printed on the next available blank line on the bid sheet and must exceed the previous bid by at least the required minimum bid raise (as noted on the bid sheet). Bids will be disqualified if the required minimum raise is not met.
8. In the event of a dispute, the Event Director from the Greater Washington Sports Alliance will determine the winning bidder, and his/her decision will be final.
